Cedric Mary — who writes Analytics Legends

Background
27 years on SAP, from classic business intelligence to today's data platforms. Five years in the United States, three in Switzerland (Zurich), now based in France. Working languages: English (fluent), French (native), German (good knowledge), Spanish (basics).
What he actually works on
Consulting and programme-lead work on SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, BW/4HANA, Joule and Databricks integration. That is the same material published here: the cards and studies come out of delivery work rather than desk research.
Why one author, and what it costs
A single author gives one consistent voice and clear accountability: every published figure has someone behind it. The cost is real and worth stating: coverage advances more slowly than a staffed editorial team, not everything can be reviewed to the same depth, and a blind spot of the author is a blind spot of the platform. That is why every card carries its external sources and every study its review date — so a reader can verify instead of trusting.
How the content is produced
- Every concept card cites public sources, each checked reachable before publication.
- Day-rate bands state their sample size and refuse to show a value no observation supports.
- An organisation is named as an SAP customer only when a published source supports it; otherwise it is counted, not named.
- No customer review is published without recorded consent — see the reviews page.
