What it is

Einstein Copilot for Tableau and Tableau Pulse are Salesforce's two answers to conversational analytics: Copilot assists authoring inside the workbook, Pulse pushes metric movements and their explanations to the consumer without a dashboard visit. Both are Salesforce-platform features rather than SAP ones, which is the fact that matters for positioning.

Why it matters to an SAP consultant

Because it is the comparison a client will make out loud. When a CIO asks why SAP Analytics Cloud rather than Tableau, the honest answer is not that one tool is better — it is that the integration depth differs, and the depth is what determines total cost. Tableau reaches SAP data through connectors and extracts; SAC reaches it through the semantic layer the SAP landscape already maintains.
