Insight Apps are pre-built, SAP-delivered analytical applications running on the governed foundation data products (M033) — working analytics on day one instead of a six-month build. They reframe the first question from "what shall we build?" to "what has SAP already built that we can adopt?" Buy-then-build: adopt the Insight App for standard domain analytics (finance close, spend, working capital), extend where specific, build net-new only where nothing fits (same adopt-vs-build judgement as M033; rebuilding one is wasted effort like re-bronzing, M042). They consume the governed foundation, so answers carry contracted semantics consistent with SAC/Joule (M031/M046) — not a floating dashboard template. Time-to-value is the headline: an Insight App can BE the early-win pilot domain (M068). Honest limits: they solve the ~70% standard reporting fast, freeing bespoke effort for the ~30% unique — not "all analytics solved", and they still need a populated governed foundation. Fast visible value funds the next phase.
