C_BCBDC_2605 is SAP's Business Data Cloud certification: a scenario-based assessment delivered as an AI role-play in which you record one unedited English video, 120 minutes allotted, 60 % cut score (learning.sap.com, read 15 October 2026). SAP publishes five topics with weights: BDC Core 24 %, Intelligent Applications 23 %, Data Products 23 %, Open Data Ecosystem 15 %, Transformation of SAP BW 15 %. There is no standalone Datasphere exam; Datasphere is assessed here (installing and enriching data products) and in C_BDCDA_2605. You are graded on explaining, not clicking, so prepare with the official journey Exploring SAP Business Data Cloud, then rehearse each topic out loud with a use case, services, why, risks structure.

The SAP Business Data Cloud certification does not ask you to click through a system and it does not ask you to tick boxes. It asks you to talk: you record one unedited video in which you explain five topics, in a fixed order, as if you were briefing a customer's data leadership. That changes how you prepare. Knowing the product is necessary; being able to structure and deliver a clear 5–10 minute explanation without a script is what is graded. This module gives you the verified exam facts, the five official topics with their weights, a study map onto the Academy's modules and concepts, a delivery drill, and a six-week plan. It also tells you where the Academy stops.

Prerequisites
- Module M031 (BDC Introduction & Architecture) and M001 (Datasphere Foundations), or equivalent project experience
- Review core concepts first: C009 (SAP Business Data Cloud), C001 (SAP Datasphere), C010 (Data Products)
- A headset, a recording setup at 720p and access to the Exploring SAP Business Data Cloud learning journey
Outcomes
- Describe the C_BCBDC_2605 format and access model accurately, without invented weightings or question dumps.
- Explain BDC's design principles (data fabric, data product economy, one-domain model, zero copy) and its architecture component by component.
- Walk through discover, install and enrich for data products and intelligent applications, and through BDC Connect and the BW transformation path.
- Record a single unedited video covering all five topics in order, within the time limits.
