Joule is SAP's GenAI copilot, embedded across the suite + analytics. Its defining value over a generic chatbot: it's grounded in the customer's governed SAP data + business semantics, not a public model guessing. In analytics: NL querying of SAC/BDC, automated narrative insight, guided exploration — answers carry the contracted definitions (M033), so "revenue" means the governed measure, not a hallucination. The consultant's core message: not "AI magic" but "your governed data, now conversational" — which addresses the boardroom fear of AI making things up. Joule Studio builds custom grounded skills/agents (bridge to M049).
