What is SAP Analytics Cloud — Collaborative Planning?

SAC Collaborative Planning turns SAC from a single-analyst spreadsheet replacement into a multi-tier workflow engine that can run a 50-cost-centre budget cycle end to end.

SAC Collaborative Planning is the multi-user, workflow-driven layer inside SAP Analytics Cloud Planning that answers the question every FP&A lead eventually asks: how does a fifty-cost-centre budget cycle actually run in the tool, when each cost-centre owner enters their own numbers, a regional controller reviews and challenges them, the CFO signs off, and the whole thing has to survive an external audit. It is what turns SAC Planning from a single-analyst spreadsheet replacement into an enterprise application that can orchestrate hundreds of participants through a defined, auditable approval hierarchy.
